CRM for strategists, social media managers and small agencies

Proposal signed, retainer agreed, first month paid.

Nod CRM turns "could you take over our socials?" into a signed proposal, a Monthly Retainer Agreement the client signs in their portal, and a project where they approve the work. Extra hours become invoice lines. Invoices in the client's currency, VAT handled. No client account, no PDF.

How a retainer gets signed

Brief to invoice, in one record.

  1. 01

    The brief lands.

"Could you take over our socials?" arrives on WhatsApp or by email. It is a lead in Nod the moment it arrives: forward it to your Nod address, or connect your inbox and it is already there. The team answers from one shared inbox.

  2. 02

The proposal goes out as a link.

Strategy, templates and the first month of management live in the catalog. Pick them, add your terms and send the proposal in the same thread. Or record one voice note after the call, and a Smart Deal turns it into the deal and the proposal.

  3. 03

    Signed, then the retainer agreement.

The client e-signs the proposal with a one-time code sent to their email. Then the contract wizard drafts a Monthly Retainer Agreement from your answers: the monthly fee, included hours, the overage rate, rollover, the minimum term and notice. Add a Statement of Work for the setup.

  4. 04

They sign it in their portal.

Send to client puts the contract in the client's portal, behind the same one-time code. They sign by typing their full legal name; the signed date is recorded and a PDF is generated.

  5. 05

    Approvals are shared tasks.

On every plan, the signed deal opens a project. The content calendar, each batch of posts and the monthly report are tasks on a board. Share the approval task and the client sees it in their portal, with its status.

  6. 06

    Hours become invoice lines.

Track time on the project and turn logged hours into invoice lines. The invoice is in the client's currency: for an EU business client, in euros with VAT reverse-charged at 0% and both VAT IDs printed.

What Nod leaves to other tools

No post scheduling, no ad reports.

Nod does not publish or schedule social posts and does not report on ad accounts; keep your scheduler and your analytics. Each month's retainer invoice is created by you, not on a schedule, and milestone schedules are still being built. Invoices are not emailed yet.

Questions from marketers

Before you switch.

Can Nod draft a retainer agreement?

Yes. The contract wizard has six types, including the Monthly Retainer Agreement and the Statement of Work. You answer questions about the fee, included hours, overage, rollover, the minimum term and notice, pick plain English or formal legal, and Nod drafts it. It is a starting draft to read and edit before you send it.

How does the client sign the contract?

Send to client puts it in their portal, behind a one-time code sent to their email. They sign by typing their full legal name and agreeing to sign electronically. The signed date is recorded, the audit trail records when it was sent and signed, and a PDF of the contract is generated.

How do I invoice an EU business client?

In euros, with VAT reverse-charged at 0% and both VAT IDs printed. A UK client gets VAT at 20% as its own line, a US client gets your EIN and no sales tax line, and an Indian client gets GST. The client pays by bank transfer to the bank details on your invoice.

Can clients approve content in Nod?

Share the approval task and the client sees it in their portal, behind the one-time code, with its status. Nod does not publish or schedule posts; that stays with your scheduling tool.

Can I bill hours over the retainer?

Yes, on every plan. Log the hours on the project and turn them into invoice lines at your overage rate.

Does Nod invoice the retainer every month on its own?

Not yet. You create each month's invoice in Nod. Milestone schedules, each with its own due date and reminders, are still being built.
