Questions
Frequently asked.
Does it work over email, not just WhatsApp?
Yes. Proposals and reminders go by email or WhatsApp, and the client opens the same deal page from either: they verify with a one-time code, sign and pay. The code always arrives by email. On the way in, forward an email to your Nod address or connect your inbox and it becomes a lead; your team answers from one shared inbox.
Do my clients need a Nod account?
No. They open a link, verify with the one-time code we email them, sign and pay. The client portal works the same way: the code is the login.
Which payment providers can I use?
Stripe and Razorpay. The client pays on the deal page, and the payment is matched to the deal and the invoice automatically.
Does it handle India GST?
Yes. GSTIN for both parties, CGST and SGST for intra-state supplies, IGST for inter-state. Tax IDs such as EU VAT and US EIN are supported on invoices too.
Can I invoice in more than one currency?
Yes. Each invoice is issued in the client's currency. Your workspace keeps its own currency and timezone for reporting.
When do reminders go out?
Before the balance is due, on the due date, and when it's overdue, by WhatsApp or email. You also see when a proposal was opened.
Are projects and time tracking included?
Yes, on every plan, Free too. A project can be created automatically when a deal is signed, with tasks on a board, subtasks, checklists, comments, files and tasks shared with the client. Track time and turn logged hours into invoice lines. Paid plans add project budgets and milestones.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Owner, admin and member roles, an activity and audit trail, and CSV export of your data.
Can I take a deposit or split the payment?
Not yet. Today an invoice is either paid or unpaid. Payment schedules are being built now: a retainer, milestone payments and the balance before delivery, each with its own due date, pay link and reminders, with Paid and Balance due shown on every invoice and in the client portal. There is no booking scheduler yet either; one is planned after payments.
