HoneyBook alternative

Nod CRM vs HoneyBook, without the brochure.

HoneyBook is a full business suite for independent professionals in four countries. Nod CRM is a narrower tool for one job: a client's message becomes a signed proposal, a payment and an invoice, in the thread they wrote in, wherever the client is. Here is where they differ, and where Nod loses.

HoneyBook figures are from honeybook.com/pricing on 16 October 2026. HoneyBook is a trademark of its owner; Nod is not affiliated with it.

Choose HoneyBook if

You want the suite.

You are in the US, Canada, UK or Australia, you want a scheduler, lead forms, workflow automations and a QuickBooks integration in one subscription, and your clients expect email.

Choose Nod CRM if

You want the deal closed in the thread.

Your clients write on WhatsApp or email and you want the proposal, the signature, the payment and the invoice as one record from that thread. Your clients are not all in one country. You would rather not run a suite to get paid.

Questions

HoneyBook or Nod.

Is HoneyBook available outside the US, Canada, UK and Australia?

HoneyBook's own sign-up prompt says it is available for business owners in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia. Nod CRM is launching in USD markets first and issues every invoice in the client's currency, so a business with clients abroad is served either way.

Does HoneyBook send proposals on WhatsApp?

HoneyBook sends files by email and, on its Essentials plan and up, SMS reminders. Nod CRM sends proposals and reminders by WhatsApp or email, and the client signs and pays from either.

What does Nod CRM not do that HoneyBook does?

HoneyBook includes a scheduler, workflow automations, lead forms, a QuickBooks Online integration and HoneyBook AI on its plans. Nod CRM is a narrower product: lead, proposal, e-signature, payment, invoice, with projects and time tracking on every plan. Nod does not take deposits or split payments yet (payment schedules are being built), has no booking scheduler yet (planned after payments), does not email invoices yet and does not host galleries.

How does the price compare?

HoneyBook lists Starter at $29, Essentials at $49 and Premium at $109 per month billed yearly, with card fees starting at 2.7% plus 10 cents and bank transfer fees of 1.5%. Nod CRM has a Free plan, then Solo at $13, Team at $39 for up to 4 users and Studio at $89 for up to 10 users per month, with two months free billed yearly. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, no card required. On Free, Nod takes 2% of online payments; paid plans have no Nod fee, and Stripe or Razorpay charge their own fees on every plan.
