CRM for planners, DJs, florists, caterers and decorators

The date held, the balance paid before the day.

Nod CRM turns "are you free on the 12th?" into a signed package, a deposit that holds the date and a balance reminded before the event, in the thread the client already wrote in. Paid by bank transfer or UPI, straight to your account. No client account, no PDF.

Sample deal · sent by email

How an event gets booked

Date inquiry to final balance, in one thread.

  1. 01

    The date inquiry lands.

"Are you free on Saturday 12 June?" arrives by email or on WhatsApp. It is a lead in Nod the moment it arrives: forward it to your Nod address, or connect your inbox and it is already there. The team answers from one shared inbox.

  2. 02

The package goes out as a link.

Your hours, sound, lighting, florals or menus live in the catalog. Pick them, add the date, the venue and your terms, and send the proposal in the same thread. No PDF.

  3. 03

    They sign on their phone.

The client opens the deal page, verifies with a one-time code sent to their email, and e-signs. You get the opened ping and read receipts; reminders go out if it goes quiet.

  4. 04

    The deposit holds the date.

Set a deposit on the deal. The client pays it at the deal's deposit step, by bank transfer or by UPI QR in India, then taps I've paid and adds the reference. You confirm, and the deposit shows paid.

  5. 05

    The balance, reminded and invoiced.

Reminders go out before the balance is due, on the due date and when it's overdue, by WhatsApp or email. The invoice is already written: numbered, dated, in the client's currency, with the tax lines their country expects.

  6. 06

The run sheet is a project.

On every plan, the signed deal opens a project. The timeline, the song list and the vendor calls are tasks on a board. Share the run sheet task with the client, and log the hours if the planning runs long.

Deposit

The date is theirs.

The client pays the deposit at the deal's deposit step and taps I've paid with the reference. You confirm, and the deposit shows paid on the deal. Nod never holds the money.

Before the day

The run sheet, as a project.

On every plan, a signed deal opens a project on its own. The timeline, the song list and the vendor calls are tasks with checklists and files. The client sees the tasks you share in their portal, behind the same one-time code.

What Nod leaves to other tools

No availability calendar.

Nod does not show which dates you have free or take bookings; a booking scheduler is planned after payments. No floor plans or seating charts, and no vendor marketplace. Invoices are created in Nod and are not emailed yet.

Questions from event pros

Before you switch.

Can I take a deposit to hold the date?

Yes. Set a deposit on the deal and the client pays it at the deal's deposit step, by bank transfer or by scanning your UPI QR for the exact amount in India, then taps I've paid and adds the reference. You confirm. Nothing is marked paid until you do.

Will Nod remind the client about the balance?

Yes. Reminders go out before the balance is due, on the due date and when it's overdue, by WhatsApp or email. Automatic invoice reminders are included from the Solo plan up.

Can I split the balance into instalments?

Not yet. A deposit is taken at the deal's deposit step today. Milestone schedules, each with its own due date and reminders, are still being built.

Does Nod show my availability or take bookings?

Not yet. Nod has no availability calendar and no booking pages; a booking scheduler is planned after payments. Keep your calendar for which dates are free.

Can I share the run sheet with the client?

Yes, on every plan. The signed deal opens a project, and the run sheet is a set of tasks with checklists, comments and files. Share the tasks the client should see and they appear in their portal, behind the same one-time code.

Does Nod do floor plans, seating or vendor bookings?

No. Nod runs the proposal, the signature, the deposit, the balance and the invoice. Floor plans, seating charts and finding other vendors stay with the tools you use for that.
